Map Collection

The Map Collection is located in the School of Geosciences, Division of Geography, Level 4, (first floor from Eastern Road),
Madsen Building and is open 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, weekdays. It is open to all students and departments in the University, and to
the public. Its collection of over 80 000 maps offers world coverage of 45 topographic series, together with geological, regional, thematic, historical and specialist maps from various countries. Among local holdings of the library are the Australian topographic series and thematic maps produced by Australian mapping agencies. Atlases are held in the adjacent
Geosciences Library.
